Alucraft were appointed by AECOM Ltd. to design, manufacture and install the complete envelope package for the new LinkedIn Headquarters, at Wilton Place, Dublin

The six storey office space, designed by RKD Architects, with AECOM Facades as the cladding consultants required Alucraft to design and manufacture over 1000 unitised panels, each weighting in excess of 300kg each. The unitised panels were fully factory assembled and were made from the Schuco UCC 65 SG aluminium framing systems. High performance architectural glass units were structurally silicone bonded into place using the Dow Corning SSG process. Some of the panels also incorporate Blue Irish limestone as a stone infill panel, which is designed to conceal the floor slabs behind the glazed facades.

The installation of Schuco FW 60 Stick Curtain Walling (with automated blinds) will be used as a saw tooth design to the roof glazing to allow natural day light into the heart of the building, they are all part of the Alucraft scope.
